My name is Sarah, and sometimes I have a lot to say. The words bubble out of me and onto the screen, falling into the world at a rapid pace. Other times, my soul cries for quiet and I pull into myself like the shy hermit crab. I am both extroverted and introverted (the paradoxical ambivert), outspoken and reserved, sour and sweet, tough and tender.
My identity rests in the One True King, Jesus my Beloved, and no label the world has fixed to me ever remained sticky. I am learning to relax into the arms of my Savior and let Him tell me who I am. I desperately need Jesus to redeem every broken intention of my sideways heart. There are plenty of them littering the path behind me!
I hope you are refreshed and motivated by the content you find at Plum Wilder. I hope to encourage and inspire you by sharing the story Jesus is writing with my life. I want to remind you Whose you are and encourage you to chase the vision He has for your life. When the King’s daughters run from distraction and pursue Jesus with wild abandon, He propels us into lives of holy freedom and purpose.
I am just wild about:
- My husband, Eric
- Our sons, Seth (7) and Hawk (4)
- A cup of coffee
- A stack of good books
- Blueberry-wheat pancakes
- Sunday mornings at our church home
- A cool breeze
- An easy hike through the woods
- Our 90-year-old cottage on the outskirts of Birmingham, Alabama
- Art museums
- Watching birds play
- A clean kitchen
- Lemon essential oil
- Meeting friends for lunch
- Reading to my children
I hope you find yourself at home here! Grab a cup of coffee and let’s chat about thriving in faith + raising wild children + a perpetual book stack + hearth and home + simple living. I’d love to hear from you! If you’d like to contact me, feel free to use this form to send me a note!
